Studio Bees and Appletrees

Buiten sneeuwt het, maar stiekem kijk ik alweer uit naar het voorjaar! Op het deense blog Fruens Syslerier vond ik heel wat frisse ideetjes om het huis voorjaarsklaar te maken. Outside it is snowing, but I am already dreaming of Spring! The Danish blog Fruens Syslerier has a lot of fresh ideas to give your home that "springfeeling".

Mijn zus was jarig en hield met al haar vrienden een cupcakeworkshop in haar woonkamer! Het was erg leuk en we hebben bergen cupcakes versierd... Toen ik thuis kwam heb ik snel een paar fotootjes gemaakt van het resultaat voordat mijn kleine monster ze te pakken zou krijgen! It was my sisters birthday, and with all her friends we did a cupcake workshop in the livingroom! We had a lot of fun and decorated lots and lots of cupcakes..... When I returned home I quickly made some pictures of the results before my little monster could get his little hands on them!

De dames van kers op de kaart brengen kaarten, blikjes, magneetborden, badges en meer, met allemaal een even mooi, lief en nostalgisch beeld. Nadat Adinda en Froya (de creatieve mama´s achter al dit moois) merkten dat hun werk op de academie wel erg op dezelde lijn zat, besloten ze in 2008 om er werk van de maken, en niet zonder succes. The ladies of the brand kers op de kaart (cherry on the card), make cards, magnetboards, badges and more, which all have a sweet and nostalgic point of view. Adinda and Froya (the creative ladies behind the brand) discovered their same interests in things, in art-school. In 2008 they decided to give their designs a try , and not without any succes. Een poosje terug heb ik deze kleine meisjesketting gemaakt van lint, vilt en tule pompoentjes. Een ketting voor echte meisjes meiden, en voor mama's jong van hart! A while ago I made this little girls necklace out of ribbon, felt and tule pompons. A really girly necklace, for little girls and younghearted mommies!

Soms kom je van die projecten tegen, waarvan je alleen maar kunt denken; WOW! Nou dit is er naar mijn bescheiden mening zo eentje. Moomah New York is een cafe, een gallerie, een workshopruimte, een winkel, en nog veel meer... In een inspirerende omgeving kunnen kinderen én ouders genieten van kunst, "eerlijk" eten en creativiteit, ik zou er graag eens een kijkje nemen.... Bezoek de mooie MOOMAH site , en geniet. Once in a while you stumble upon a project where you can only think of one word; WOW! This is one of them. Moomah New York offers a cafe, a gallery, workshops, a shop ,and much more.... Deze keer iets voor de jongens! Ik werk altijd graag met echte "meiden" kleurtjes ( hoe meer roze, vogeltjes, bloemetjes, en tierlantijntjes hoe liever...), maar deze keer dan toch echt even iets anders. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden ;) This time something for the boys! I always love to work in a girly-style ( lots of pink, birdies, ribbons....), but this time something different.
